Who’s ready for CQ 2020?
Every summer, ConcordQuest draws kids from all over 865 to Concord for a fun and exciting week discovering God and His love for them. Due to COVID-19, it looked like CQ was going to be cancelled for this year. But that is not the case! CQ is happening…just in a different way. This year…instead of kids coming to Concord for CQ, we are taking CQ to them!
This year, CQ2020 will be available in-person in neighborhoods and also online!
On August 3-5, ConcordQuest is going out to neighborhoods all over the 865 community! Kids will gather at a home in their neighborhood and will experience three days of awesome games and teaching that illustrate what it means to listen to, focus on and follow Jesus! Each day’s experience will last around 90 minutes and will leave the kids wanting more.
- WHEN: August 3-5
- WHERE: Neighborhoods in 865 and online
- IN-PERSON CQ will have limited capacity at each location
- ONLINE CQ - you will receive an email to get links you will need for each day
- WHO: For all kids ages 4 years old - 5th grade (preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult)
OPTION #1 - CQ IN-PERSON EXPERIENCE
Your kids will attend a CQ host site either in or near your neighborhood and be a part of a limited capacity gathering. The gathering will be held outside and kids will experience three days of awesome games and teaching that illustrate what it means to listen to, focus on and follow Jesus!
Each day's experience will last around 90 minutes and will leave the kids wanting more.
Since sites will have limited capacity, availability will be awarded based upon when you register, so if you want this option...be sure to register TODAY!
OPTION #2 - CQ ONLINE EXPERIENCE
Your family will have CQ at your home and will experience three days of awesome games and teaching that illustrate what it means to listen to, focus on and follow Jesus! In each day's digital experience, you will be prompted through our digital content to play games, read the Bible, memorize verses and apply the teaching in your lives.
Each day's experience will last around 90 minutes and will leave your family wanting more.
If you feel comfortable gathering wiht more people, you can invite some neighbors, friends and family to your house for CQ. It's such an easy and fun way to share the good news of Jesus with our friends.
Mark these dates on your calendar and join us in praying for CQ2020. We can’t wait to see how God is going to continue to use ConcordQuest to inspire kids and families to follow Jesus!
*we will follow all county and CDC guidelines and requirements that are in place in August regarding social distancing and maximum numbers in small groups during CQ.

Please drop off donations in the bins around campus!
Are you interested in hosting or co-hosting CQ in your neighborhood? This is an easy, fun and amazing outreach opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus with your neighbors. But we cannot make CQ happen this year if we do not have people willing to host it at their home/clubhouse in their neighborhood.
Main Responsibilities for Host Homes are:
- Provide a place for kids to gather
- Invite kids in your neighborhood to come to CQ
- Partner with a co-host from your neighborhood and other volunteers to share the love of Jesus.
If you are interested in hosting/co-hosting CQ in your neighborhood, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. After sending an email, a member of our Concord Kids staff team will contact you to discuss next steps.
