Frequesntly Asked Questions

Why did we decide to move Camp?
Based on the current situation relating to COVID-19, we have moved the dates of our camp to late summer in order to allow us greater time to prepare, learn about the Coronavirus, and ensure the safety of students and leaders attending.

What if we are still not allowed to meet in large groups?
It is our plan to have Wild Week and Beach Week in late summer, right before students return to school! If government and health organizations’ do not advise us to meet, then we will have to reconsider these dates. In that event, you would be able to get a full refund on your registration for Wild Week/Beach Week. We are actively looking for ways that we can minister to our students during this time and know that camp is something so many look forward to.

Will changes be made to camp to deal with COVID-19?
We are evaluating every part of our camp experiences in light of social distancing, restrictions on gathers, and the recommendation of officials. We have multiple alternate plans in place for transportation, recreation, worship, and activities. We will modify any and all parts of our camp experience in order to do our part to ensure the safety of students. We will make these decisions as we get closer to the dates of our camp.

Who can come to Beach Week?
Beach Week is for students who have completed 8th - 12th grade as of summer 2020.

What is the cost and what does it cover?
The cost of the trip is $395. There is a $50 deposit due at signup. It includes all travel, lodging, meals, t-shirt, rec, speaker, band, etc. The only thing not covered will be three travel meals to/from camp plus additional money for souvenirs or personal spending (parent discretion).

Where will we be staying?
Seascape Resort, 112 Seascape Drive, Destin, FL 32550

We will be staying in condos. Each unit has 3-4 beds plus a pull out couch. There will be 8-10 people in a room. There will be at least one sponsor in each room. Our goal is to put students with their friends and we are working hard to make sure this happens. Students are welcome to bring food and snacks as each condo has a full kitchen.
