Diane Knudsen Helping Hands Ministry Coordinator
Diane holds an M.A. in Special Education, and she loves getting to go out in the community with the Helping Hands group. It makes her smile to see how happy members of the group are after doing even the smallest task. She believes it is important for the community to perceive children and adults with special needs just as anyone else, because we all have our challenges and deficits, right?
She and her husband Patrik have two children, Madelyn (12) and Liam (9), and their family enjoys taking trips to Patrik’s original homeland, Sweden. Diane loves that the kids get to have the experience of foreign travel!
She is originally from Troy, Michigan and has lived in Knoxville for 17 years. Her favorite hobbies include scrapbooking, golfing, biking, and spending time with family.
