Keeping The Promise

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without waivering, for He who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:23

Over 100 years ago, our founders made a promise to God. Imagine what they must have felt as they embarked on a new journey in their faith! In the walls of a small church in Old Concord, they held fast to their commitment. It is now our legacy to continue in faith the commitment our founders made so many years ago.  Your prayers, participation, and support are greatly needed as we endeavor to provide a Christ-focused future for our church. We believe God is challenging us to greater ministry, and we are ready to accept that challenge. Our campaign will provide the financial resources needed to expand our facilities while we continue to expand the outreach our ministries.

Fulfilling the Promise
God is good! He has richly blessed First Baptist Concord (FBC) through the years by bringing new people and families seeking to grow their relationship with Him. In order to accommodate this growth and also prepare for future growth, our church approved a two-phased Master Plan in June of 2007. Later in that same year, the church launched a three-year Stewardship Campaign called “Keeping the Promise” (KTP) to provide financial support for the construction of Phase 1 of the Master Plan. Through the Lord’s leading, the KTP Campaign received total commitments of over $12 Million with $11 Million of it being committed to be paid by December 31, 2010. For more information read Senior Pastor Doug Sager's letter about "Fulfilling the Promise".
