Committees

First Baptist Concord is a Church that is run by its lay people. The Church works on a committee system that makes recommendations to the Church body and staff on everything from annual budgets to advertising.

The committee system is comprised of over twenty official committees of the Church that function as a group of members in their area of expertise. The committees themselves are overseen by the Committee on Committees, which manages the appointment of members to each committee on a yearly basis.

All committees of the Church work on a three year rotation, which prevents anyone from being a permanent member of a committee on a long term basis.
