Special Needs Ministry

Sonshine Class

First Baptist Concord's special education ministry is known as the Sonshine Class. Our goal is to provide a Christian environment while ministering to individuals with special physical and developmental needs, and bring these individuals and their families into a personal life long relationship with Jesus Christ, which will glorify God.

Weekly Events:

Sunday Morning Bible Fellowship: 9 - 10 AM
Worship Service 10:30 - 12 PM
Wednesday Evening: Sonshine Class 6 - 7:15 PM

Classes provide fellowship time, prayer requests and prayer time, praise and music, Bible study and sharing. The Sonshine Ministry recognizes that parents and caregivers need to worship and participate in Christ centered Bible study. Accordingly, we encourage you to participate in a Sunday School Class and Wednesday evening class that fits your needs.

The Sonshine Class is a group of individuals who come to share their love and care for each other weekly. Each time they meet they have a time of fun combined with strong, Biblical teaching. There are usually two to three teachers with special education experience present at all times.

The Helping Hands Ministry is a day program for special needs girls.
